AI Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-02
Eureka uses AI to help you make sense of your career. This policy explains what the AI does, what data it sees, and the choices you have. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Where AI is used
- Parsing your CV to extract skills, roles and experience.
- Matching your skills to New Zealand roles and identifying gaps.
- Suggesting courses and mentors that could help close those gaps.
Guidance, not advice
AI outputs are a starting point, not professional advice. Always verify anything important with a human — including your mentor — before making career decisions. Career matches are not a promise of employment or salary.
Your data
We route AI requests through the Lovable AI Gateway. We only send the text needed for the specific feature (for example, the text of your CV when you upload it). We do not use your CV or account data to train third-party models.
Human review and opt-out
You can ask us to review any AI output, or opt out of AI-powered features entirely, by emailing privacy@eureka.kiwi.nz. Your account will still work — the AI-driven suggestions and gap analysis will be unavailable.
Fairness
The AI is instructed not to consider protected characteristics (such as age, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation) in its matching. If you believe you've been treated unfairly by an AI output, please tell us so we can investigate.
Errors and limits
AI models can make mistakes, miss context, or reflect biases in the data they were trained on. We monitor for obvious issues but can't catch everything.
