Acceptable Use Policy

Eureka is a place for people to grow their careers. This policy sets out what we expect from everyone who uses it.

You agree not to

• Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against any user or mentor on grounds prohibited by the Human Rights Act 1993 (including age, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation).
• Post, send or share content that would breach the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015.
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or employment history.
• Try to bypass paid features, share accounts, or scrape data at scale.
• Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the security of Eureka or its users.
• Use Eureka to promote or sell competing services.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.

Mentors additionally agree to

• Show up to booked sessions on time.
• Respect the confidentiality of everything a mentee shares.
• Not give regulated financial, legal, medical or immigration advice unless separately licensed to do so.
• Not solicit mentees off-platform for the same service.
• Comply with the Mentor Agreement signed at onboarding.

Reporting a problem

Email report@eureka.kiwi.nz. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access where we consider it necessary — with or without notice.

Serious harm

If you're experiencing a harmful digital communication as defined in the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015, you can also contact Netsafe. In an emergency call 111.
